Young people can achieve extraordinary things
Independent meaningful learning (also known as self-directed learning/education, unschooling, deschooling, liberated learning, etc.) is an approach to learning—and life—that helps build a deeper, more authentic relationship with ourselves, the people around us, and the world. Wherever you are on the journey, Mosaic provides a judgment-free, resource-rich space with supportive dialogue where curiosity thrives, roadblocks become stepping stones, and learning knows no bounds. We achieve this through respect, collaboration, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We all have moments of doubt in our journeys as parents and life-mentors. Our always-expanding resource library provides tips for navigating the challenges that show up in parenting, in addition to best practices for supporting learners of all ages.
Whether you’re in need of a shoulder to lean on, a space to vent, or a thought-partner to explore what learning could look like for your family, our coaches are here to help. Get customized support tailored to you and your family.
Our Facebook Group provides a supportive environment for families to rely on during different stages of their self-directed journey—whether you are considering this path, have already embarked upon it, or have been practicing for years. It is space to share thoughts, work through struggles, and be supported.
